These terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any booking or recovery request you make through it. Demon Autos & Recovery is an independent garage at Unit 5 Milton Road, Milton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 6LE.

Bookings

Booking a slot through this website is a request, not a confirmed appointment, until we confirm it with you. We will contact you to confirm the date and time. If we cannot offer the slot you picked we will offer you the nearest alternative.

Please let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking, so we can offer the slot to somebody else.

Quotes and prices

Any price shown on this website is a guide. We give you a fixed-price quote for your specific vehicle before we start any work, covering parts, labour and VAT.

If we find additional work is needed once the vehicle is with us, we will contact you and get your agreement before carrying it out. We will not do extra work you have not approved.

Vehicle recovery

Recovery response times depend on where you are, the traffic and how many jobs we already have. Any time we give you is our best estimate, not a guarantee. If you are in a dangerous position on a live carriageway, call the emergency services first.

The vehicle lookup and wet belt checker

The registration lookup uses data supplied by the DVLA. The wet belt checker identifies your engine from the make, engine size, fuel type and year on that record, which is enough to recognise the common belt-in-oil engines but cannot cover every variant.

Treat the result as a strong indication, not a definitive answer. If it matters, call us and we will confirm it properly against your vehicle. We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of the checker without confirming with us first.

Work and warranty

We use OE-quality parts and stand behind our work. Parts warranties are provided by the part manufacturer and we will tell you the cover that applies to your job. Warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by an accident, or problems arising from work carried out elsewhere.

We keep the information on this site as accurate as we can, but it is provided for general guidance. Nothing here forms a contract until we have confirmed your booking or quoted your job.
